Security for corporate and private events
Westbay Security provides licensed officers for corporate receptions, annual general meetings, product launches, staff parties and private functions across Metro Vancouver. Each event is led by an on-site supervisor, with officers briefed on the guest list and an access plan agreed with you in advance.
Doors, guest lists and back-of-house access
Officers check invitations or names at the door, keep service entrances and loading docks closed to anyone who isn't working the event, and direct arrivals and parking. They can be uniformed or suited, to match the room.
Planning and the written summary
Before the event we walk the venue with you and agree who is allowed where, who to call, and what happens if someone needs to be asked to leave. A written summary can be provided afterwards where required.

How it starts

You call or send the form
Tell us what the site is, where it is, and the hours you're thinking of.

We look at the site with you
We walk the site, ask what has gone wrong before, and agree what the guard should do.

Post orders and a written quote
You get the hours, the duties and the price in writing. The post orders are signed off by you before the first shift.

The guard starts
A licensed guard, briefed on your post orders. Reporting follows what was agreed for your site.

What types of events do you cover?
Corporate receptions, annual general meetings, product launches, staff parties, strata meetings, private functions and public events, at offices, hotels, halls and private residences. Contact us to discuss the requirements of your event.
How much notice do you require?
As much as possible. Two weeks allows us to assess the venue with you in advance. For events at shorter notice, contact us and we will confirm whether we can staff it.
Can officers wear suits instead of uniforms?
Yes. We match the dress code of your event. Officers carry their security worker licence at all times.
What reporting do we receive after the event?
A written summary covering the officers on duty, any incidents at entry points, and anything you or your insurer should be aware of.
