Security guard services in Metro Vancouver

Westbay Security supplies licensed security guards for warehouses, yards, parkades, offices, strata buildings, construction sites, government buildings and private homes across the Lower Mainland. Guards are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and each one works from post orders written with the client for that site.

Where our guards work

Gates at warehouses and truck yards, front desks in strata towers and office buildings, parkades, construction sites, government buildings and private homes. The job changes with the site, so every site gets its own post orders.

Post orders, written with you

Before the first shift we walk the site with you and write down what the guard does: which doors they check and when, who is allowed in, who to call and in what order. You sign it off. The guard works from it, and so does anyone who covers a shift.

Reporting

Depending on the service and your requirements, guards may prepare shift activity reports, patrol logs and incident reports. Reports may include patrol times, security checks, observations, and photographs where appropriate.

What's included

  • A guard who holds a BC security worker licence
  • Post orders written for your site and signed off by you
  • Access control: who comes in, who leaves, and when
  • Rounds of the building or site during the shift
  • Shift activity and incident reports, as set out in your post orders
  • An incident report with photos when something happens

Are your guards licensed?

Yes. Every guard holds a BC security worker licence, as required by the province, and the company is licensed under BC's Security Services Act.

Do you prepare post orders for each site?

Yes. Every site has its own post orders. We prepare them after assessing the site with you, and you approve them before the first shift.

Do you provide guards for government buildings and private homes?

Yes. We provide government security and residential security for houses and estates. Contact us with the details of the site and the coverage required, and we will provide a quote.
